Hints? WHAT Hints?!
Hello Newman has only one piece of evidence to back up his theory, hint-wise! Apparently it goes along the same kind of thinking as the caveman world - where hitting your loved one with a club was a sign of affection. The bearded man is simply showing the Digletts how much he loves them when he chases them..... apparently!
As much as it's pained me to do it, I've actually come up with a far more plausable hint for Diglettshipping which doesn't involve mallets. When the bearded guy realised he would be destroying the Diglett and Dugtrio's home he called off construction of the dam.
Eugh! Bleugh! I've got a horrible taste in my mouth now!
