Instrument of Choice:Guitar,Bass,Vocal # of times I saw Fear Factory:1 Albums I Own:Demanufacture,Obsolete,Digimortal,Hatefiles,Archetype,Soul Of A New Machine MY REASON: They are a band that really caught my attention in the early 90's. Fear Factory has given me alot of inspiration to form my own band called Wonka's On Acid and Burton's lyrics speak nothing but true and bleeding his soul on ever record. Never afraid to experiment with their music they never seem to fail me in my ears and eyes. I saw Fear Factory live at SnoCore in Colorado w/ Kittie and The Union Underground. It was a explosive show that just blew me the fuck away. I was shocked when I heard that they broke up two years ago but they have come back and sounding better than ever with their new album "Archetype" which I proudly own in my CD collection. Even though Dino Cazarez is not in the fold,it sounds great,but I do miss Dino a whole of a hell lot. How I found out Fear Factory I found out Fear Factory how any other kid would,jacking his brother's CD's lol. I took Fear Factory's "Obsolete" from my brother I think it was in 1999 and I was blown away by everything. At the time I was listening to other bands and when I listened to that CDs,it made me think where all these bands got their sound from. Fear Factory exposed me to many other great bands that have passed through like Statid-X,Chimaria,Nothingface and many others. Thank you Gary (my brother) for a great CD to jack from the many other great metal CD's that you have (note:by that time I bought my own copy) |
