Physical effects also commands the area of animatronics and related model making processes. Digital Force also has a small team dedicated to the development and research in the feild of animatronics. The first and foremost reason being that it is extremely difficult to shoot with trained animals fora movie. Digital force allows the director to have a custom made animal for a particular shot. In return they have dogs which are ferrocious but dont bite, they can have mad elephants which are under control and so on.

All animals developed inhouse are easy to handle. They are of two types, the muppet types, which require human intervension and the others of the type which employ radio control to do the same.

The adjoining photoraph shows two of our design engineers busy giving a face to one of favourite pets, a german shepherd.

The adjoining figure shows us the innards of the dog that is seen above with the designers. What in medical terms is called an endoskeleton is made first out of alluminium and then the flesh is put on top of it, just like an actual dog. Makes a nice pet, you can take our word for it. You dont have to feed it, train it, and in return it doesn't gueard your house. (Digital Force Copyrights 1999).
