| Like the emblem of the Lions Clubs, the LEO Club symbol has two faces of lions, one faced left and the other faced right having between them the word LEO, wrote vertically on a maroon colored strip. The letters and the lion faces are gold. Those colors were choosed by the members of the first LEO Club, the Abington High School LEO Club, and were the colors of the Abington High School colors. The lion on the left means the pride of the past and the one on the right the sight of the future and the preoccupation with the humanity. The letters LEO abbreviates the LEO Club Motto: Leadership, Experience and Opportunity. So the youth have the opportunity to get experience and became leaders. |
