It's been a long time since I've written, but I don't have a speedy connection at home, so I waited until I was back at work to take advantage of the internet connection here.  I've been off for 6 weeks on sabbatical, and really enjoying it.  I puttered about the house, in the garden, in the kitchen, and generally had a grand time relaxing.  We went to Maui last week, and that was really really nice.  Really it was!

Today is my first day back at work.  I know you are all thrilled.  But, it is the beginning of my last month here, so I can't really complain.  I mean I can, and I do, but who really cares? 

I went back to the doctor for an u/s after my last post from Santa Babara, and I had many cysts left over from the previous cycle.  We decided to wait it out and see how they looked next month.  Rob and I were to try on our own.  We waited until I should be ovulating and had our baby-making sex.  3 days later, my period came!  I went back in to see the doctor, and we did another u/s.  I still had 3 cysts, so we decided to put me on birth control pills for a month to shrink the cysts.  Oh the irony of being on bc pills.  She did do a beta pregnancy test, just in case I was having an ectopic or other strange pregnancy going on, but the test came up negative, thank goodness.  All I need is to have one more type of failed pregnancy!  blech.  I've been on the pill now for about a week, and it's going well.  So far no migraines, so that is great.  I'm expecting my period to come the weekend of October 8th or so, and I'll be in Framingham MA for work the week before, so hopefully it won't come early.  I think we should be able to make it work this next cycle, using the injectables and all that.  I don't mean I think we will get pregnant, just that we will be able to complete a cycle.  At this point, that is all I am aiming for!
