Today is February 25, 2002


Hello. Sorry I didn't get to update earlier today when I posted my weight. As a matter of fact, I think this will be my last update for a couple of days. I have a very busy week planned. First of all, as you may or may not know, my husband is off every Tuesday and Wednesday night. My mom, bless her heart, is going to take my 2 year old and keep her for 2 whole days, the days my husband is off. I won't be totally kid free, but it will still be a nice break. Tomorrow I am going to go to a movie and out to eat with my best friend Tammy. We rarely have time to get together much anymore, so I am really looking forward to it. She has her hands full with four kids and I have mine full with three. Wednesday I take Kendra to a counselor. She has already been once and she really liked it, so I think that is what she really needs right now. She is still taking her dads death pretty hard. The other day she told me she thought she would be better off dead so that she could be with him, I decided it was way past time to get her some help. He also recommended a place called "Three Tree's". It is a place where grieving kids can get together once a week for eight weeks and talk. She is really looking forward to that, she starts going this Thursday. So anyway, I am going to try and enjoy this time with my husband so I probably won't be on the computer much over the next few days. If I get bored at all and have time, I might do a small update, I'm not going to promise though.

If you checked my weight chart then you already know that I had a pretty decent weight loss. I am pretty surprised and happy about it. I just think where I'd be right now if I had been exercising these past five months. Oh well, I got a whole new five months ahead of me to find out. :) For some reason today, I've really had the munchies. I think I've done reasonably well though. I did eat 4 girl scout cookies though. Oh man, speaking of girl scout cookies, I just remembered. A friend of mine, sort of, had ordered a box of thin mint cookies. I had had them for a week, but haven't delivered them to her yet. She lives in a bad neighborhood and I didn't feel like getting shot over some cookies. Anyway, she calls me the other night and asks me if I had the cookies, I told her I did, so she drives over here to get them. She sits her for awhile, just chatting and we end up watching a movie, Scary Movie 2. She's munching on her cookies all the while we are watching the movie. After the movie she gets up to leave and I noticed she had forgot her box of cookies, so I said, "Don't forget your cookies.". She turns around and says, "I ate'em all". I about shit my pants. She had sat here and ate 1500 calories worth of cookies in 2 hours! Sad thing is, the old me probably could have easily done the same thing. I don't know though, that is a lot of cookies. This girl told me that night that she weighed 225lbs, and no I didn't ask. I feel kind of bad for her. In all of the 15 years that I've known her, she has been fighting the battle of the bulge. She usually stays right around 180lbs. She was always on my ass to try and lose weight with her. Now it looks like she has given up. She looked like crap. Her hair wasn't even combed. It's kind of sad, but she has to make the decision to change, just like all of us have. Man, I go way into detail, don't I? hehe. Okay, I think I've wasted enough time here. Hope you all have a good week.

Treadmill: 20 minutes/1 mile
Exercise bike: 6 minutes/1.5 miles.
