First off, If you are not a member of GCC's Abnormal Psychology class, I'd like to direct you above to my disclaimer. If you are a member of my pschology class then I hope you enjoy this presentation.
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), is considered by many in the feild of psychology to be the most complexed disorder. Its hard to diagnose, for basic symptoms are identical to several other more common, but less publically known disorders. As such, do to the glory of the internet, most people who experince these common symptoms will often assume they have DID, and simply manifest personalities that do actually not exist.
As such some psycholigist even question the validity of the reported cases. But as you can see by clicking the example link in the right hand frame, those who are diagnosed suffer greatly.
