Exchange trip
The Bawnacre are always planning new trips way for the youth clubs member whether it is a trip ice skating, a trips to a top Scottish or English Premiership match or trips to France to visit Euro Disney the youth club members always have some sort of trip coming up.
The next main attraction for youth club members is a exchange trip to Portugal. This consists of about 12 youth club member and leaders. The group will be staying in Portugal for eight days with their Portuguese counterparts taking part in different activities. The Irvinestown youth club will meet up with Carrickmore youth club as a joint group before they all head away.
When the trip is over the youth clubs members that went out to Portugal will have to host their Portuguese friends sometime in August of this year.
This is the first time the Bawnacre has organized something like this
but I'm sure it will be the first of many exchange trips across the world.
Concerts
Also the Bawnacre Centre are planning to take a group of youth club
members to Belfast to see boy band Westlife soon. By the popularity
of this band when the concert happens the club members should have a great
time.
