The Bawnacre Centre is run by Mr George Beacom. George recently was awarded an M.B.E for his efforts in the run of the establisment.
The Bawnacre which is situated in Irvinestown is a great place for both the young and old. The centre which is built on the hills of the town can been seen from almost anywhere in Irvinestown with its red and green colours.
The Bawnacre offers a wide range of entertainment for you no matter what age you are. For the children that have left primary school there is youth club for them every Monday, Thursday and Friday nights between the time of 7.30pm to 10.30pm. There is also a Disco every couple of weeks for these children.
The Centre also holds a evening for the older generation every Wednesday between the times of 4.30pm to 6.00pm (for information on this go to the activities page).
