Participated in a project to link the mainframe to the Web. Implemented server-side programs to handle inquiries and update customer and account information on the mainframe in response to Web applications. Responsibilities included design and development of several new online transactions and adding a new segment to the account database. Implemented a new program to inquire and update the new detail records, a program work datagroup, the detail datagroup and a link activity. Created and assembled a new screen map. Modified PCD 24186. Modified CICS tables.
Implemented an affinity credit card. Responsibilities included documentation of the new product and modification of existing process control tables. Modified PCD 24186. Modified account linkage PCD's.
Added a new database segment to the CIS customer information database. This new segment is used to support Preferred Retail (ultra) customers. Specific assignments were: 1. Extracting on-line transactions in real time and sending them to the Relationship Marketing System. Modified the HDB definition to expand the database which is used to capture online transactions for "broadcast" to other applications. Added new fields and flags to program work datagroup and modified the database maintenance program. Modified the CIF (A64010) maintenance driver program to accomodate broadcast of the new data. Modified the Relationship Marketing System broadcast driver program to accomodate broadcast of the new data. 2. Adjusting the customer combine process to accommodate Preferred Retail customers. Developed and documented new rules for customer combine of Preferred Retail customers. Modified the customer combine program to accomodate Preferred Retail customers.
