Implemented a report to provide statement-like transaction detail to a set of accounts held in trust by the bank for a large funeral home. This report is being used by the funeral home to improve customer service for several thousand customers representing over 20 million dollars in deposits. Modified the deposits monthly deposits history extract program to add a needed field. Added a freestanding SPS implode of the selected history records. Created a freestanding SPS implode to combine data from an existing SPS implode with additional data from the AMF database. Added a new SPS report using the two new implodes.
Implemented a report to provide the precise whereabouts in terms of cost center of deposits in the Lease Security portfolio. This report is used to improve and verify the assignment of profitability for this XXX million dollar portfolio. Added a monthly batch Hogan COBOL program to perform a selective SPS implode. Added an SPS implode and a report.
Implemented a report of RPM hierarchies resulting from a recent conversion. This report is being used by the commercial bank to improve customer service to assist in some reformulation of hierarchies. Added a new easytrieve program to select data from the monthly RPM extract flat file. Added a new non-Hogan COBOL II program to print a report and create a flat file for PC download. This report was rolled out as an Excel spreadsheet distributed on the LAN/WAN.
Updated and improved the accuracy and efficiency of the RPM integrity process. Substantially modified 6 Hogan RPM COBOL programs. Modified one existing and implemented two new CDMF PCD formats. Implemented a dump restore (DR) to replace pre-existing data in the new formats. The DR contained an exit to add data from a user created PDS (text file) member to the PCD's. This saved the user input of 1000+ online PCD entries of new data.
