He was Partners with William Edward HOGAN in the Business of HOGAN & MAY -
Smith Street KEMPSEY, NSW. The Business was involved in Coach and Sulky Building.
They Purchased the Business on 3rd of August 1899 from LAWLER.
It was known that they won an award at the Kempsey Show in 1901
They won a Silver Medal (pic below) at the 1903 3rd Annual Commonwealth
Show in Sydney, NSW - For "Sulky Straight Shafts without Hood" (1st in Division)

Sold up in Kempsey and moved to Sydney in September 1937
Owned and ran a Grocery/Liquor/Hardware shop with his Son
(John William May) at Old South Head Road, Rose Bay, NSW (Sydney).
