DIAS provides a free Citizen Advocacy service to people who have:
  • Learning disabilities.
  • Mental ill health.
  • Dementia.
  • Frailty in old age.
The service is jointly funded by NHS Tayside and the Dundee City Council Social Work department to give an independent voice to those who, under the Care in the Community legislation, are faced with decisions about their lives. We prioritize accommodation issues.
