SOURCES

In 1989, after the film "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" came out, a computer game was released, and with it came a version of Henry's Grail Diary. This was a really bad replica, it was not the correct size and it was nearly only text. However, the text in it is most interesting, because relates Henry's quest in his point of view, shows his feelings, etc. This is my source for most of the text.

I also use the book that was used by the film makers to fill in some of the text and drawings of the actual prop used in the film! This was discovered again in the internet quite a long time ago, and it is a must for everyone making a replica.

And of course, the book from Star Wars to Indiana Jones, which contains 14 photos of different pages of the Grail Diary.

And on top of all, the text in 11 new pages recently discovered has been confirmed by several sources, including the owners of the original prop.

TYPES OF DIARIES

The diary used in the film was a complete chaos of disorder and repetition. My diaries, by combing the text of the Computer Game's Diary and the pages from the real prop, provide a logical, chronological record of Henry's quest, but with the same order as the one seen in the film. So, if you would like to get a replica that when you flip it you see the same as Indiana Jones and when you read it you get into Henry's quest and thoughts, thats exactly how my replicas are.
I make two types of diaries: Computerised and Handmade. Both of them are binded by hand with a leather cover and have the same text and images. Both are the same quality -- it is just that it is quicker to make a computerised one, as I only have to print and bind.
The Computerised Diary is cheaper and has all the drawings digitalized from the Lucasfilm Archives. For it, I have made a font which is very near to Henry's Handwritting, and the actual replica, once aged and binded, looks really well. I prefer to take orders of Pre-printed diaries than of hand-made.
As for the handwritten diaries, I only make them from time to time, so if you want a hand made replica I reccomend you contact other artists such as Indiana Magnoli, Aimee Reich or Chris Llewellyn. Anyway, in my hand-made replicas everything is handmade except two or three pre-printed pages which were also pre-printed in the original prop, and some inserts.
