| Today.....March 22, 2003 My Thoughts For The Day!!! As I sit and watch the news today I give thanks to all the Men and Women who so bravely give their Lives to defend the American way of life for those who can not defend themselves against such an Evil person as Saddam Hussain. To those dedicated Men and Women who fight for Freedom, Truth, Justice and Peace, We the American people give you our Respect and grateful Appreciation. And to the parents and families of those Men and Women who will lose their loved ones we will grieve for your loss and know the sacrifice you too have made. I heard one Mother on Television this morning say she has asked her son, "Is this War really necessary?" She said his response was, "Mom you just don't know everything and YES it is necessary." I am so thankful for people that believe immoral acts against another human being no matter what there race, color, religion should not be tolerated. Life and freedom are two very precious rights to stand up and fight for. I believe there is Good and Evil and that we must fight the Evil in order for the Good to Prevail. I regret very much that War causes such grief, pain and suffering. But I also believe God will give us all strength, grace, and wisdom to know what is happening half way around the World is necessary and the right thing to do in His eyes. A little prayer: I pray God that you would watch over our Service Men and Women and those that have joined in the fight with us to bring this world closer to a more peaceful place in which to live and raise our families. We thank you God for your many blessings upon us and we give you praise for all that you do. May we keep our minds focused on the outcome, which is to be the kind of people You God inteneded us to be, good, caring, compassionate, understanding, and above all loving human beings, who through Faith, know that you are on our side and will never fail us. We pray that all come home safely and know that those who do not make it back to their loved ones will have you, Father safely leading them home. We thank you God our Father in Heaven. Amen Dianne |
