Dia Mirza is one of the most gorgeous girl ever seen in bollywood. She began her career in the glamour industry by winning Femina Miss India Asia Pacific Title and then Miss Asia Pacific crown. After that offers form bollywood started pouring in and today Dia is a well accomplished actress in Bollywood.

                     Dia was born to a Bengali mother and a German father on 9 Dec 1981 in Hyderabad. At 16 she was an introvert girl working as a marketing executive at Sriven Mult-tech in Hyderabad. She earned a monthly salary of Rs 5000, with a 15% commission on every ad revenue she fetched for her company. She however did an advertising campaign which appeared in Femina. After the pictures came out she was encouraged to participate in Miss India competition.

                                     That's when her success story began. Diya won 3 titles at the Miss India competition - Miss Beautiful Smile, The Sony Viewer's Choice Award and Femina Miss India Asia Pacific. Life changed after that. Diya shifted to Mumbai from Hyderabad for better career prospects. Eventually Diya won the prestigious Miss Asia Pacific Title at the beauty pageant held on 2 Dec 2000 in Manila. She is the second Indian contestant to be crowned Miss Asia Pacific and the first in 29 years.

Diya was then signed by Vashu Bahnani for Rehanna Hai Tere Dil Mein opposite southern superstar Madhavan. Her debut movie (RHTDM) did not make a big splash. But it spelt one thing - Diya Mirza had arrived. Today Diya is working in numerous other films which are sure to bring her more and more success. Diya was linked up with Salman Khan by some movie magazines that claimed that the two had an affair during the shooting of their movie Tumko Naa Bhool Paayenge. But Diya denied all this talk as a baseless rumor. Diya dated Bunty Sachdev for a while but things did not work out and currently the lovely lass is SINGLE !!
