FACT:DHMO kills thousands of people a year. Did you know about Dihydrogen Monoxide before today? How about Hydroxil Acid, Dihydrogen Oxide, Hydrogen Hydroxide, Hydronium Hydroxide, or simply Hydric acid? I bet you didn't know they are all the same exact chemical. This has been given numerous aliases to try and hide it's deadly effects. Our purpose is to educate the public and stop the killing of thousands, deaths that could have been prevented. These are some of the more commonly asked questions we get. If you have a question, please email us at [email protected]

    What is Dihydrogen Monoxide?
DHMO is a colorless and odorless chemical compound. Found in nature in small quantities, it is not harmful, but, the bigger the amounts it is in, the more deadly it is. Its basis is the unstable radical Hydroxide, the components of which are found in a number of caustic, explosive, and poisonous compounds such as Sulfuric Acid, Nitroglycerine, and Ethyl Alcohol.

Should I be concerned about this chemical?
Yes. DHMO is a constituent of many known toxic substances, diseases and disease-causing agents, environmental hazards, and can even be lethal to humans in quantities as small as a thimbleful.

Why have I heard little about DHMO?
Historically, the dangers of DHMO, for the most part, have been considered minor and managable. While the more significant dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide are currently addressed by a number of agencies including the FDA, FEMA, and CDC. Public awareness of the real and deadly dangers is much lower than it should be.

Is this chemical really that dangerous?
Unfortunately, the dangers of DHMO have increased as the world population is going up. This is a fact that raw numbers and careful research both bear out. Now more than ever, it is important to be aware of just what the dangers are and how we can all reduce the risks faced by this.
