Okay, I guess you want to know more about me! I really don't know why you would want to know anything about me, but here goes nothing.

My name is Doug Brown...and no I'm not going to tell you my middle name. I'm 18, and I'm a student at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon. Now to start off, I'm going to tell you a little bit about my life. I've lived in Eastern Oregon my ENTIRE life! When I was born, my parents lived in Pendleton, but my mom's doctor was in La Grande (don't ask me why!), so I was born here in La Grande. Then about when I turned 2, we had to move to La Grande. So essentially I've lived my entire rememberable (is that a word?) life in La Grande. So I went to school here...I started off at preschool, at this little preschool place called Heidi Ho. And then I went to Ackerman Lab School, which was a grade school at Eastern Oregon University (well, it was Eastern Oregon State College at the time), part of the university's school of education. Then, the school closed so I had to go to Central school, which is only about 3 blocks from where I live. And then I went on to La Grande Middle School and the High School too. All of which are really close to where I live.

So that's my life from age 2 until the present! Now why, may you ask, do I still want to stay here for college? Well, I sort of like this town. It's a love-hate relationship. I kind of like the small town atmosphere and I feel really comfortable here, but at the same time there are not a whole lot of places to get things, and there's NOTHING fun to do! But I can mooch off my parents for a few more years, and I won't complain about that ;) Oh yeah, and it's cheaper for me to stay here than live in a dorm.

Okay, now that you know a little history, allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. I'm 6'8" inches tall, and I weigh 180 lbs. Yes, that makes me skinny. Oh well! I have a lot of hobbies. First of all, I'm pretty good with computers....Mac or PC, take your pick. In fact that's what I'm going to college for - computer science. But just because I like computers doesn't mean they are my entire life. I like to play basketball too...I can dunk, being how I am so tall, and also have a deadly outside shot. They don't call me Downtown Doug Brown for nothing! :) Okay, it's not deadly, but it's pretty good. Ok, I also like to make music. I play piano, and I (try to) play guitar, and I also play keyboard, which is pretty much piano. It's really fun. I'm also interested in photography. I love taking pictures of stuff. Lately I've been taking my camera everywhere I go. You never know when you might find the opportunity for the picture of your life! Another thing I like to do is listen to music. I like lots of artists and I will listen to everything from Rock, Metal, and Pop to Classical. A lot of classical music actually bores me, but I like Beethoven more than any other classical artist. Beethoven really has some interesting music - he's not afraid to mix things up. One second, one of his pieces will sound all peaceful, and then all hell breaks loose! It's really fun to listen to. And play, too. But don't get me wrong, classical is not my favorite genre to listen to. I like rock and dance music too. Anything that has good musical harmony is a plus.

There is so much more to me that I can't think of now, so maybe someday I'll update this site. But for now, this is it. Be sure to check out the other sections of my website!
