THE TRACKS ARE
(1-7) Are live from The Joint, Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999, and I rate them FM EX
(8-13) Are live from State Theater, Michigan in 1999, and I rate them FM EX-. Track 8 is an
interview just prior to QR taking the stage in Michigan. This tracks had bad radio
reception with track 13, 2:56 to 3:24 coming in pretty bad, but tolerable considering it
only lasts 28 seconds.

These CDs contain 2 seperate shows starting with CD2, track 5 being the second show. The 12-31-?? part of this show was simulcast over the radio as it was being performed, and just barely gets my EX rating. Plus it has a studio version of "The Warning" and a Live track that consists of 2 songs, of which neither is QR music. The first song is with members of other bands and a QR member or 2. The second song has all of the QR band members as well as members of other bands. Both songs have a female lead singer, and this track lasts 12:30. The first few songs on CD1 have a bad mix for Geoff Tate's vocals. CD1, track 11 is cut short by about 5 seconds is all.

Like with nearly all boot releases, there are a couple of minor recording flaws that make it not perfect. There are a couple of Pre-release lIve tracks performed this night which sound identical to the Studio released versions.As of 7-1-06, I learned that this show came from "Live In Tokyo" which is a VHS video official release. This pro-shot video was compiled from three shows played on the same day and was eventually released in 1985, with "Take Hold of the Flame" serving as a promo video for MTV broadcast.

Starting at track 1, 2:01 until track 10 there is clipping as if somewhere in the transfers over time the recording volume became too high. You can see the difference in how I rated this. The VG+ rating is until track 10, and the EX rating is from track 10 on. I have artwork/scans/inserts for a different version called "Rage For Order - Demos". These do not include the Various B-Sides & Soundtrack Tunes.
