Hans Zimmer: Music

When I looked at the stills from the April 20 edition of time magazine, I knew that this film has the potential to be the most groundbreaking animated film of the 1990s. I loved Alladdin and the Lion King, but the preliminary pictures I have seen are not less than amazing. Just look at the image at the bottom of the page. The backgrounds are so detailed, and that shot alone is like a magnificent art work. A four minute sequence (the parting of the sea) took 300 thousand man hours to complete. Other pictures I have seen suggest an influence from David Lean's epic 'Laurence of Arabia'. And to top it all off, there are two albums from some of the leading popular singers in America. They are songs 'influenced by the film'. MARIAH CAREY and WHITNEY HOUSTON will sing the end credit song in the first duet they have ever done. If Hans Zimmer (Lion King, As Good as it Gets) is involved, it should pick up best song, and be one of the most popular songs of all time. In each of the sections below, I will put a still from the ones I have collated from web sites across the net. After all, this site is a collation of the toils of others.
