The Interview With D Well, D isn't such a bad person after all. He was nice enough to just to give me an interview, but what he said was also very thoughtful. This man has been playing Delta Force for about two and a half years now. He has accumulated over 111,400 deathmatch kills, and that number keeps growing. He puts many of us to shame, not by how many kills he has, but by his age. He will turn 61 on July 15, 2000. During his life he has been in the Army, worked in a plant, and went to college to become a design engineer. He built his own computer with 575Mhz, 256 RAM, and a 3800 ASUS Video AGP card. He connects at 48000 with his modem. D has two sons and one daughter. His daughter, better known as Lady J, writes for Tactical Zone and Playnet.com. Go to her site here.
D does not play any other games online. He has tried DF Upgrade, DF2, and Quake II, but he keeps coming back to DF. I asked him why he never has joined a squad. His response was, "I just don't like to get into situations where people start pouting about this and that and it usually happens in squads." I can't blame him. My squad, Warpigs, is only made up of friends of mine. Anyway, back to the interview. I finally let him get back to "work", or playing DF, and I asked him to make a comment that he thinks he really needs to make. It was: "People say I cheat but I never have. I hate cheaters I just played real hard until I got good at it. Now when I get beat I try different things to improve myself so I can win.
After a while you learn the maps and where everyone will pop up and it gives you an advantage. I also am very good with a knife." With that, we said our good-byes and that was that.
