Audit
Once each calendar year the Executive Committee shall appoint an ad-hoc Audit Committee to review the financial records of the Treasurer. The Chairman of the Audit Committee shall be a member of the Executive Committee, excepting the Treasurer.
The Audit Committee shall have two (2) additional chapter members who are not members of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee shall review the audit and make it available to the membership. If the board is unable to obtain qualified members who are willing to serve on the audit Committee, the president has the authority to obtain a qualified person outside the chapter to perform the audit.
Article XI
Parliamentary Authority
Robert Rules of Order Newly revised, current edition shall govern the proceedings of the chapter in all cases, not provided for in these by-laws and provided that they are not in conflict with state laws.
Article XII
Amendments to By-Laws
Revision of the Chapter by-laws shall be by a majority vote of the Executive Committee with a quorum present and voting.
This is to certify that the by-laws were approved and adopted by the Executive Committee of the Great Plains Chapter of the DFCS on August 10, 2005.
