| Love
Love is a fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23 What is true love? I may be able to speak the languages of human beings and even of angels, but if I have no love, my speech is no more than a noisy gong or a clanging bell. I may have the gift of inspired preaching; I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; I may have all the faith needed to move mountains---but if I have no love, I am nothing. I may give away everything I have, and even give up my body to be burned ---but if I have no love, this does me no good. Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Love is eternal. Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:1-8, 13 Love is self-denying, self-sacrificing, foundation of gifts and fruit, foundation of Christian life, is patient, cares for others more than self, doesn't envy, isn't prideful, is kind, is forgiving, searches for good in others, is not critical, is positive, is hopeful, withstands assaults, and never fades away. According to Jesus, the second greatest commandment is to love your neighbour the same way you love yourself. See Matthew 22:36-40. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Luke 6:31 "Treat others the way you want to be treated." Tolerance, in the modern sense, is not true love. True love does not abandon people in their ignorance. True love does not abandon people to lifestyles and habits that bind them to the destination of Hell. Modern tolerance is false love in the same sense that lust is false love. Modern tolerance is a doctrine of demons. Modern tolerance is masked allegiance to Satan. True love does not embrace nor does it eternally accept that family, friends, and neighbours have chosen habits, persuasions, and lifestyles that destin them for an eternal Hell. True love chooses to warn and sow truth into lives that detour the hearer from God's wrathful and fearsome judgement. True love presents the path of escape to those who are perishing. True love does not abide in modern tolerance. Tolerance rooted Lot and his family to the city of abomination. Tolerance corrupted wise King Solomon to ignorance as pagan temples were erected in Israel by his personal order. Modern tolerance is Antichristianity, opposed to evangelism. Love must be completely sincere. Hate what is evil, hold on to what is good. Romans 12:9 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 Readers, do not bow your knee at the altar of pretended tolerance. Take courage in Christ, bound by His love. Put your life on the line and step out to take a stand against sins that condemn your family and friends to eternal death. If you love truly, prove it and stop this compromise and acceptance of modern tolerances.
