Devon Niko continues to perform wtih a Latin flavoured band called Melodia with Ottawa Canada's female vocalist TONIE C.
Delivering mult-lingual Pop/Latin flavoured rhythms in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese in every style and genre, DEVON NIKO with MELODIA are attracting and pleasing both young and old crowds.
Performing live at Canadian Casinos, Festivals, Corporate Shows and Private Events, DEVON has performed well over 500 shows in the last few years in Canada, Europe, USA and Mexico.
DEVON together with MELODIA, is a featured act in the prestigious Salon Royal at Lac Lemey's Casino de Hull, Canada. DEVON is booked for April, July, Sept, Nov, Dec and New Years Eve for 2006 at the Salon Royal. Plans are in the works to renew his contract for 2007.
DEVON's last major European appearance was as a featured Canadian guest artist, at Romania's final 2001 edition of the "GOLDEN STAG FESTIVAL", which also featured Cyndi Lauper, UB40, INXS and Soca Boys. DEVON's live television appearances were viewed by over 100 million viewers!
When DEVON is not performing live, he is actively working on a new project which will incorporate lyrics, rhythms and styles featuring his warm and powerful vocal signature. Tbe album will be a reflection and highlight of the last few years of DEVON's personal and professional journey.
DEVON has recently hooked up with brilliant performer, songwriter and producer, SAL PIAMONTE to write songs which will be featured on DEVON's new album.
