Bills 51' Chevrolet Pick-up truck
I purchased the truck from a friend at work. I was assured that the truck was in great condition, and would take minimal work to get up to snuff. Well its now a year and a half later, and I still dont have a running truck. Lots of time and money have been spent, but the old girl isnt there quite yet.

I had to find an engine and transmission, witch was a chore in itself. I ended up with a SB 305 and 700R4 from a late 80's Camero. Click

The Brake system was a shambles, and in dire need of updating. Follow
this to the Brakes page.

The origional body was not as solid as I was led to believe. Infact, the only parts that were worth saving, were the lower cab corners. Here  you can see the origional cab.

I ended up having to get a totaly new cab. I found a 1955 1st series GMC cab for only $200! I was lucky enough to find a colector who had a spare, and was willing to part with it for a military discount price. Thanks Mr. Peterson. Click
