July '02 Went to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for the KDD Convention. July '02 Met Joy. Mar '02 Started working for Megaputer back in Bloomington, Indiana. Dec '01 Visited Shanghai for 6 days. This is my first time visiting red China. The enormous scale and precise execution of infrastructural development was amazing. Tons of new highways, high rises, subways, factories, & parks are all either newly built in the past five years or are being built. With the government, corporations, and the people all focusing on economic development and no BS, this place is destined to be the next financial and economic center of Asia. Besides enjoying beautiful outdoor scenic and gardens at Suzhou and Hanzhou, I was able to speak with some veteran Taiwanese business leaders for their insight views on business and life in SH. Oh, night life in SH is just like Taipei and LA but with many more pretty customers. Dec

As part of the KIPs program, my project team delivered a report on the current status and practices of the Japanese consumer electronics industry. Aug '00 Backpacked through London, Oxford, Paris, Dijon, & Luzern in a 14 days trip with my brother Michael. Aug '99 Two years completely absorbed in the MBA program at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University at Bloomington. The total Kelley experience was immense, enjoyable, and totally worth while. Aug '99 My little brother Michael and I drove all the way from California to Indiana - a total of two days or 2000 miles of continuous driving (besides motel stays) through a terrific array changing terrain of the western part of the United States. May '99 Went to Japan for almost 3 months studying Japanese language at JCMU by the beautiful lake of Biwa in the city of Hikone of Shiga Prefecture. I met many wonderful friends, both native local Japanese and Japanese languages class classmates from America. I was very fortunate to stay as a guest with the Ishihara family, who provided comfort and a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange. Thanks to my host-mom Rikako, I was able to examining and enjoy a wide variety Japanese dishes EVERY DAY for almost 2 months! Yummm!
