WORK EXPERIENCE: 15/03/2003 - Till Date Oman Resources Development Consultants (ORDC), Oman Business Development Manager / Lead Consultant - Responsible for transforming ORDC into a proper Management Consulting firm. - Promoting ORDC as dependable brand. - Identifying new business opportunities and converting them into workable ventures by meticulous planning & execution. - Implementing HR best practices across the country. - Managing and coordinating workshops and training programs for Omanis and expatriates as well. - Profit Centre responsibility. - Achievements: Within the last one year Strategic agreements have been entered into with reputed names in the field of Management Consulting & Training in India, Australia & US. As a result, ORDC is now in a very good position to offer high end consulting to organizations across the country with the help of specialized and experienced consultants. Another big achievement was successfully planning, organizing and also executing the biggest public seminar in Oman by bringing Jack Canfield author of Chicken Soup for the Soul series to speak and motivate the partcipants from Oman on his latest work - The Success Principles. 450 participants attended the program. The whole idea was conceived, initiated, marketed and executed by me with a dedicated team. - I am now working on another mega event to happen first time in Oman. HR Summit; where in all the world wide speakers and trainers will visit Oman to speak on Talent Management, Change Management etc. This will also coincide with the launch of Oman's first HR Network as well as HR Excellence Award for the organization that have made huge success in the field of HRD. 05/01/02 - 10/03/02 Al Zawrak L.L.C, Oman Marketing Manager - Identification of new business ventures. - Creating the blue prints - planning, implementation and follow up. - Fully responsible for developing the business which involves the preparation of business strategies and marketing plans and executing them to perfection. - Being a liasion officer for their international business. - Managing media activities; placing advertisments in the newspapers, placing press releases and also targeting other media to promote the name. - Achievements: Within a short period of time, three different locations were finalized for fixing the trio visions and their marketing put in place. Had entered into a contract with a Dubai based company for the launch of various consumer oriented publications. |
