Now plug in the second part of the pump, taking care that the water pick-up line is correctly installed. Thread-lock your four bolts, and torque them down in a criss/cross pattern. Polaris recommends 28ft/lbs of torque on each of these bolts.
Now install your steering assembly by slipping it on, and screwing the philips screw back in. Make sure that all the correct bushings are in place.
Install your steering linkage, and tighten this down. You want the steering assembly tight, but not so tight that steering action suffers. If you have any doubts, turn your handle bars for verification.
Install the water bilge lines, and place wire ties on them to secure them.
And finally, if you have the quick-trim system, install this linkage, place your new stainless steel cotterpin through the hole, and bend it back. You are done with the pump!
