The Good
I am not an expert but the car looks stock except for an improved cooling system with silicon lines and 2 heater shut off valves. I tested the cooling on a 114 F day both on the freeway and in town and did not overheat. As far as I know the car is in good mechanical condition. Recent carb rebuild. Electronic ignition. Has headers. Good power. Smooth shifts and clutch. Uniform straight stock braking performance with late model master cylinder adapted. Suspension and steering tight, handles very well. Good stock wheels and low mileage BF Goodrich TA tires. 16600 miles indicated. Black interior with light grey headliner is plenty good for a driver car and in my opinion looks better than the pictures indicate. I see no evidence of structural rust. Minimum surface rust. This was one of the later Panteras built with the small metal front bumpers (pre-L SN#THPMNCO3538). Removable stock fiberglass engine cover included. Have some new Hall Pantera side mount rear view mirrors and halogen headlamps that are included in the deal. |
