So the 2006 season never happened... kind of a shame really since we got most of the kinks out of the system. Oh well, life happens. 2007 looks promising enough anyway and everyone's lives are settling down enough that this is gonna happen for us this time.
   
The lead-casting has been on hold as well until I reclaim my workshop from a commissioned project (what can I say... daddy needs a new table-saw :p) I've solved all of my mold problems though and as soon as I can I'll be able to put out some serious production and hopefully the '07 season will be run with all lead (I'm giddy just thinking about it).
   
Regardless, look for the season to start this weekend. Happy hunting!

A massive rebuild of the rules is underway (my appologies to anyone who built teams under the previous system) which will simplify vehicle design and speed-up gameplay in general. Vehicle design is now a straight-forward approach where its characteristics are purchased directly instead of determining them from the sum of componants purchased). Vehicle movement is now done all at once instead of being divided up into phases which will greatly speed-up the gameplay. Need to try it though and see how we like it, little worried about strange anomalies cropping up during a vehicle's movement.
   
Still no solution for the season format problem encountered; eliminating it or making it a completely optional part of the game may be the only solution I'm afraid, thus making each event a self-contained game. Well, as Ronald Regan once said, "I'd rather get three-quarters of everything I want than to go over the cliff with my flag-flying high".
