The Education of St. Ignatius

    When Ignatius finally made it to the Holy Land he was on able to stay.  There was a lot of religious and political problems.  He chose to go to school instead.  This was probably a wise decision.

   In ten years Ignatius went to four different universites.  First he went to the University of Alcala.  Then he went to the University of Salamanca. Third he went to the University of Barcelona.  Last he went to the University of Paris, which is probably the most known out of the four.  During his time in school he gave The Spiritual Exercises to a few of his classmates.  Many of them later became jesuits.
