As soon as I hit the ground he grabbed me and started kissing me. The first thought that popped into my head was, shit what if my dad comes outside right now; I�ll be dead meat. I pushed him back and he gave me a confused look.
�Hey, what is wrong with you? I thought you liked me.� He said taking a long drag from his clove.
�I do like you. I like you too much in fact. The thing of it is, if my dad comes out I am toast.�
�All right,� he said with my handbag in one hand and his clove in the other, he directed me towards his car, �will you still be acting like this at the party though?� He took another drag of his clove then flicked it across the street.
�I don�t think so.� I smiled at him and got in the hearse.
He looked at me with a smile big enough for me to see his fangs and his gorgeous dimples. He pulled my head in close to his and said, �God you�re beautiful.�
I smiled flattered.
�The color brings out your eyes. Hey, your eyes are green not blue.�
�Yeah, actually they change colors.� I said looking down.
�You�re so sexy.� He said and pulled me over for another kiss but then realized that we were still in the driveway, and he turned the key in the ignition instead and we pulled out.

We arrived at the party at nine o�clock. It was located on top of a mountain with a road that curved all the way up to get there. There were gargoyles that festooned the entrance and there were two red wall scones on either side of the wooden door. We knocked on the door and Tony seemed excited yet strangely distant. A tall, skinny, pale man dressed in a black renaissance style tuxedo opened the door and bowed to us as we walked in. The room was dark and Audra�s �What your eyes had seen� played loudly in the room. People in all black danced together slowly to the music. The spun around in circles but the seemed to be moving in slow motion and gliding around in circles rather than spinning. They had glasses of red wine in glasses that made them look like they were drinking blood from goblets. We walked through the room and I linked onto his arm so as not to get lost in the crowd. I looked down at me on his arm with a smile on his face. He seemed to be looking for someone above the heads of everyone.
He looked over to the bar where there was a beautiful tall, skinny, pale woman wearing a long black and purple lace dress with sleeves like mine. Her hair was long and black. The ends made the most perfect curls about her bust line. Her breasts were big and perfectly round. They were extremely pale so that one could see the veins that lie beneath her skin. She sipped a glass of red wine in a clear wineglass with a small silver pentacle on the front. In her other hand was a thin black cigarette. After every sip, she took a long drag from the cigarette. She had high cheekbones and her eyes were deep sea green. They were slanted like cat eyes, and they seemed to glow golden green in the candlelight that was just beneath her on the bar.
Between sips and drags of the cigarette her lips curled into a menacing smile over her wineglass. Her teeth were perfectly pearly white and were enhanced by her blood red lipstick. We walked towards her.
Tony shook me off of his arm and I stopped in the middle of the crowd. He ran up to her. When she took notice of him she grinned widely and licked her ivory teeth. Ilooked her over inquisitively and then realized who she was. My eyes grew big and my skin hot. I could have fallen dead straight away. I began to quiver as I watched them. She threw her arms around him and kissed him, pulling his lower lip with her when she pulled away. She didn�t leave a trace of lipstick on him though. He smiled at her and they began idol chat.
I pushed my way through the crowd and found my way to the bathroom miraculously. I opened the door with my eyes filled with tears. There was a couple making out on the sink. They took notice of me and my condition and quickly got up and walked out. I stared at myself in the mirror. The new me, with my short black hair and my eyes full of tears. I cried so hard that I felt like my heart was coming out of my throat. It hurt so badly. I just wanted to scoop out the pain with a spoon. �How could you be so stupid, Harmony� I said to myself in the mirror.
I fell to the floor and sobbed. Then a thought came into my head and I suddenly stopped crying. I wiped the tears from my face. I turned my self onto my side and put both of my arms straight out in front of me with my palms flat on the floor. My head hung low and I started to laugh. Low at first and then it progressively became louder. From a loud laugh it became a hysterical cackle. I smiled from ear to ear and I slowly rose up from the floor. I brushed the dirt off of my clothes and fixed my hair in the mirror.
�Good thing you wore water-proof make-up, Harmony.� I said to myself in the mirror.

I walked out the bathroom with a smile on my face. Evelyn and Tony walked up to me holding hands. Ironically, the song that was on said, �they walk up to you hand in hand,� right when I noticed them. Damn Audra I thought.
�Harmony, you know Evelyn right?� Tony said coming over to me and letting go of her hand.
�Yes, I think I do. You were at my party a few years back right?� I said with a sarcastic smile.
�I wouldn�t remember. I go to a lot of parties.� She said sweetly with a Romanian accent. Her face stretched to form a smile and her crimson lips parted to show her short pale white fangs.
�Oh, well, I understand how that is, why would you remember a freshman�s party.� I chuckled sarcastically. I shook Tony�s arms off of me and extended a glare of death straight into his eyes. His smile melted and he recoiled a little bit. I gave him an over exaggerated smile and he moved over to Evelyn.
Evelyn looked me up and down then looked at Tony with a disappointed look.
�I thought you said she was a pretty blonde,� She said taking another sip of her wine.
I glared at her and gritted my teeth but then I remembered my thought and exhaled and let out a smile.
�She was he said but she dyed and cut her hair today. I think she looks better this way. Don�t you?� He said smiling at me.
�She�ll do,� Evelyn said sucking on her fang and putting her drink in the hand of a nearby boy.
�Excuse me,� I said folding my arms and looking at her inquisitively.� I�ll do for what?�
Tony chimed in and I glared over at him, �Well, Evelyn was thinking about having a little bit of action for a party of three. I thought you would be perfect. You were my first choice." He said the sentence as if I was supposed to be impressed and happy about it. He
