When Season Four came to a dramatic end we saw Pierce get gunned down in Hillendale by a unidentified Assassin and Elspeth collapsed in Hillendale hall after Mal revealed he'd give half his share of Hillendale Hall to Liza, Tempany also revelaed she was pregnant to Tristan.

Liza leaves Elspeth lying in the grand hallway at Hillendale Hall. Mike and Beverly tell Gold they want her out of their home as she's out stayed her welcome and her presence on Plandon Place is upsetting Hope. Drake arrives home at Hillendale Hall to find Elspeth collapsed plus Hope, Justin and Thorne find Pierce half dead in a ditch

Episode Two

Elspeth is rushed to hospital suffering from a heart attack. The La Nyla's quickly drive Pierce to hospital. Mal and Liza arrive back at the hall to find it empty and when Mal hears that Liza and his mother were fighting he slaps Liza. When Gold hears about Pierce she quickly informs all the Plandon Place residents and suspicion falls upon Sami.

Epsiode Three

Beverly and Mike go to Beth's for a dinner party. Tristan asks Tempany if the baby's his. Jen and Justin share their first kiss, Elspeth begins to recover while Pierce takes a turn for the worse.

Epsiode Four

Sami Millbrooke is arrested on the charge of attempting to murder Pierce who by now has started to get better. Liza tries to sleep with Drake in order to blackmail him. Hope thinks she has a stalker and Ezmerelda makes herself a home in one of Hillendale Hall's out-buildings.

Episode Five

Sami is released on bail, while the identity of who tried to kill Pierce remains a secret. Robin tells Tempany he doesn't want a bastard child under his roof and she bursts into tears. Thorne tells Hope she was followed home from school and Beth tells Beverly she thinks Belle has escaped from the mental hospital.

Episode Six

Elspeth arrives home from Hospital and tells Liza to get out of her house. While out in Hillendale Hope feels she's been followed. Tempany tells Sami that Robin told her he wanted her to leave, but Sami confronts Robin and tells him Tempany's staying. That Night Tristan takes Tempany out for a meal and she admits the baby isn't his, It's Robin's.

Episode Seven

Tristan storms off back to the Millbrooke home and asks Robin if he slept with Tempany. A fight starts and Sami who is round at Beverly's hears the commotion and runs to her house. Tristan runs out to his motorbike and takes off in a hurry. Meanwhile Hope and Thorne are speeding back to Plandon Place as they're been followed again, they turn into Plandon Place as Tristan is driving at them at 100mph. Hope swerves her car onto the sidewalk. Tristan though loses control of his motor bike and crashs into a wall.

Episode Eight

Beverly and Mike run out of their house to find devastation. Hope and Thorne are slightly shaken but Tristan's dead. Tempany runs to Plandon Place to find Ambulances and the Police. Robin grabs Tempany and tells her that he and Tristan were fighting over the fact Robin made Tempany pregnant. Robin tells Tempany that Sami must never find out that they slept together. Chris visits Beth at the "Ellmoor Lodge" to tell her the news, but ends up sleeping with her.

Episode Nine

Beth and Chris decide they share a very special friendship but are not in love. Mal is pining for Liza and when he bumps into her in Hillendale asks her to go and live in Austria with him. She accepts and Mal sells his and Liza's share of Hillendale hall to Gold Cunnigham as they know she's rich and stupid enough to want to live with Elspeth.

Epsiode Ten

Elspeth and Drake are angered at Mal's actions. Gold makes herself at home in the Hiller's home. Mike and Beth go to London for a meeting over "The Hillendale Centre". Meanwhile Beverly sees Beth and Ezmerelda shopping at "The Marina Outlet". Sami comforts Tempany over Tristan and Justin asks new girl Macy Mason out on a date, dispite the fact he's dating Jen!

Episode Eleven

Macy Mason makes her presence felt at "Hillendale High" much to Jen's dismay. When Macy tells her Justin asked her out she assaults Macy and gets suspended. Beth and Sami enjoy coffee at Beverly's until Beverly asks Beth why she was in Hillendale with Ezmerelda, then the thought strikes the three that Belle's back!

Episode Twelve

Thorne urges Hope to call the Police over the stalker. Justin tries to patch things up with Jen, but only gets as far as the Gladstone's driveway before Beverly verbally assaults him. Mike tells Beth she shouldn't stay at the Lodge alone. Gold has all her tasteless furniture delivered to Hillendale Hall, which upsets Elspeth who confines Gold to the South wing of the hall.

Episode Thirteen

Hope, Beverly and Sami go for a drink at "The Olde Ship Inn" down at "Pinewood Lake" and see no other that Marcus Richards who they thought was living in London. Marcus says he's moved back to Hillendale after his children didn't want to know him. They talk about Beth and how she needs somebody to stay with her, Marcus suggests he stays with her. Later Beth asks Hope what Gold was like when she was younger and Gold remembers her beign a whore and that she dealt in drugs.

Episode Fourteen

It's Hallowe'en in Hillendale and The Hiller/Cunnigham's as the residents refer to the occupants of Hillendale Hall are having a Hallowe'en ball. Absolutly everyone in Hillendale is at the ball except that is Pierce. who is preparing to gate crash the ball by revealing who shot him. Hope and Beverly meet up with Beth outside and they comment on how over the top each others costume's are! Inside though Hope sees Beth again but this time she's waring another costume and dosn't seem to regognize Hope. Hope goes and finds Beverly and tells her about Beth's strange behavior. Beverly spits her drink out over Mike and grabs Sami who has just arrived. Sami and Beverly run off to find the real Beth as it seems Belle is at the ball! Robin chats to Chris, Mike and Marcus about what he's heard about Belle. Elspeth then comes running down the grand staircase of Hillendale Hall and screams that Beth's got a knife!! Sami and Beverly run back to the main hall with the real Beth and tell everyone to look for Belle who is waring a different costume. Belle though has climbed to the top of the grand staircase and is sawing away at the wire that holds a chandelere. Beth and Hope are stood directly beneath it. The ball resumes and everyone begins dancing though they are all very edgy. Drake makes a speech in front of a doorway and is knocked to the ground as Pierce bursts through the door to tell everyone who shot him. He walks over to where everyone can see him (also it's beneath the chandelere) and says "I can now reveal the person (Robin sweats) who shot (the chandelere falls) me is R.."

The chandelere hits Pierce with an almighty THUD. Blood splashs over all the Plandon Place residents. Robin shakes in shock, hoping Pierce is dead. Ezmerelda looks into the hall through an icy window and cackles.
