how goes it in Gotham? I hope "El Pointy-ears" Is not riding you too hard. Its two days till our big Homecoming formal and I am dateless. (I know, such a shock..*gasp*) I'm not going into all the gory details, but I am just about beaten...yep, you heard it..I'm contemplating JLA satilite that night or something.

remember what I was talking about before? yeah, forget it...I just ran into Angel, one of the new girls in the hall./ Her hair was all wet and stuff...I never noticed how green her eys were till now...at any rate. She got me laughing about some stuff. She seems cool and nobody has asked her out to the dance yet. I think I'll try one more time...

hey...I saw Uncle Wally was busy doing the save the universe bit so I emailed you for some advice. I just got a date. She's cool and I know I went last year, but I didn't have a date so I want to make sure she has a really good time.
I started to go pick out a corsage for her myself, figured I'd go in the morning, but after seeing the "Tux from the Late, Late Show" I decided that us guys may have a defective color gene and I will need help.

Do you remember when I told you running was the best feeling possible? Or that last year's dance was the best time I had ever had? That all changed tonight.
I followed Linda's advice and took that bishop collared tux we looked at and picked Angel up for the dance. I almost forgot her corsage, but I was able to zip back into town and get her a pin on one. Unc, she looked just like her name. Its the only way I can put it, her hair, those green eyes...well we went on down to the dance and sarted right in on he dance floor. She's good dancer. Well at some point her heel broke on one of her shoes and instead of complaining, she just took the off and we kept at it.
The dance was a blast, better than last year. Kitty and Jason were together, So were Corey and Jubilee. James, Rogue, Orroro, Jean, Scott and Prof. X chaperoned. We got into a 4-way dance contest with some of the other couples (I think someone gave me a hot foot, so I ditiched my shoes). At any rate, it was cool. The only thing missing was Chris. Helena showed up looking great and we danced a couple of times. And I even got a dance with Amy after all. Most of the girls looked really nice. Yuki wore a formal kimono with her hair all down, Deidre was in a stylish 40's throwback, they all looked good, just not as cute as Angel.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Angel and I won homecoming King & Queen! (I attached the picture). I didn't think that the other kids even liked me that much. I mean I figure I can be pretty annoying to them sometimes. I thought Angel was gonna faint.
The dance went on and ende with only two incidents, Tommy fell into the pool somehow and blew out some of the speakers and Piotr saw Illyanna's "dress" (She was hot though...*snicker*) and went nuts, but other tha that it was all cool. The last dance was that R Kelly tune "Step in the name of Love" The whole group (teachers too) were dancing.
After it was done, I walked, nah, we danced all the way back to her room and talked at the door. We were standng there and I was looking in her eyes and ...and I think I know now what happens when you look at Aunt Linda; because if I didn't kiss her I thnk my heart was gonna come out of my chest. It wasn't a long goey kiss, but, I couldn't breathe till we stopped. Then I walked back here.
This was an awesome night...do you still smell Linda's perfume on you when she isn't there?
