History:

In the shadows of the Qing dynasty the seeds would be laid that would change the lives of thousands, through both a new direction for Shaolins brotherhood and one very special young man.
As Shaolin burned at the hands of the Qing soldiers only 5 monks survived: Bai Mei, Feng Dao-Duk, Zhi Shan, Miao Xian, and a nun, Wu Chun. The monks fled from the empires fury escaping to distant retreats or settling in rural communities. One of these monks, Zhi Shan, came to lead the Fujian Shaolin temple.
Zhi Shan was a monk and a Shih, who had spent much of his time helping and healing the people of the region. The monk taught and guided his students with wisdom and skill for several years, until a young merchant named Jyu Gu-Chah came to him seeking refuge.
Jyu, a layman who had shown an interest in the martial arts at an early age had come there after having a serious altercation with some Qing officials. Talking to the other monks, Zhi found out that the youth had been introduced to some kung fu, he took him under his wing. Jyu showed remarkable skill and promise, excelling at all he learn especially tiger style. In time he the best of the laymen and perhaps the monks at the temple. Then tragedy occurred.
