| The Franco-Prussian war only lasted a year, but it served to end the monarchy once and for all. We weathered it under the city and made sure that the Sabbat would fail to take any part of it during the mortal chaos. Once peace reigned again, I found art once again calling to me and I ventured out amongst men. The age of Impressionists had begun and I was filled with a new life studied these men and women from afar In time understanding some of the saddest and most talented among them better than they did themselves. The Eiffel Tower came as did the camera and movies a new century and two world wars�each war tearing my now beloved Paris apart. During the Second World War, I aided the resistance moving information was easy. The Germans were heady in their victories and allowed us to steal so much from them. I wonder if they will ever figure out how they lost the atom bomb? I was leading a cabaret, which toured the French countryside, all kindred. WE sued the Sabbat�s tactics against the Nazis. I have a great deal of German blood to wash from my hands that will probably cost me dear one night. I once again came into contact with a DeMedici. This time Theresa DeMedici and her childe Desmond Renee Chambers. Theresa already knew of me from her cousin, my old Domitor and we met as I was helping smuggle mortals out of Nazi controlled areas with the resistance. She was strong in a demure way, stunning and articulate. Desmond on the other and was full of rage, a new childe for sure and quiet dangerous. It was months before I could even desertion his �gift� I thought the young man Brujah on several occasions. His strength came in handy on more than one occasion, but that tempt�None the less, he had great promise, which in time he has lived up to. Bravo mon ami Chambers. You are a man I am now proud to call a friend. The war ended and the government has stabilized. Myself, I kept to the darkness till in the 80�s. The 60�s were full of much activity, but the pace was too fast, I refrained, instead watching with amusement as the story of my ancestor in blood became a play for the second time in this century. I was able to take a post near that which I loved, a job as a night curator at the Louve�. I do mainly research and answer email questions from around the globe, but I get to be with the art that I shared with Tina and my father and keep something precious safe. Heh�not bad for a sailor�s son don�t you think? Well, I am off with Desmond and his beautiful Althea to the Americas. She was a breath of fresh air when he brought her here a few years ago. Their love is strong and new. A good thing for a old man to help grow. She may be the best thing for him.. She is a sweet child. "Now I need to hurry.
