AUTUMN UPDATE (2007)
The Jon Chapman band has just returned from a sucessful trip to Norway. The new band which is now a 4 piece line up with Calder McLaughlin on Drums, played 2 festivals at the end of August. To read more about the trip go to Jons Blog on MySpace.

NEW E.P, NORWAY GIGS, ALBUM NOW ON CD (20th Aug 2007)
Lots happening in the world of Jon Chapman at the moment. A new 4 track E.P has just been completed - imaginatively entitled 'E.P #2'. This features 4 completely new songs: 'Sights too high', 'Clementine', 'It Rained', and 'Long way back home'.
The Jon Chapman band are soon travelling to Norway to play some live dates. Another festival appearance has just been confirmed in Trondheim - see Gigs for more information.
Finally, the new album is now available to buy on CD. It was previously only available as a downloadable digital format. The CD version of 'Washed up on the North Shore' will be on sale at gigs and in the near future will be available to order online.
THE JON CHAPMAN BAND GOES ELECTRIC (June 2007)
The Jon Chapman Band will be making their first live appearance as a four-piece on Tuesday 19th June 2007. The gig takes place at the Terrace Bar, Leicester from 8pm. The new line up features drummer Calder McLaughlin in addition to Ben Trott (lead Guitar) and Kim Osmundsvaag (bass). Expect a much louder, rockier sound, than previous live gigs. Some people (well, mostly Jon Chapman) are already comparing this event to the legendary 'electric' gigs by Bob Dylan after he made the transition from folk to rock. Not to be missed!!
NEW ALBUM (Mar 2007)
The new album from Jon Chapman is finally finished and available to buy. �Washed up on the North Shore�, is Jon�s second album and can be downloaded from www.Indiestore.com/jonchapman. The album contains 12 tracks which can be downloaded separately at �0.77 per track or as a whole album for �6. Tracks can be previewed before purchase.
At this time the album is only available to buy exclusively as a download. A CD version of the album is in the pipeline but the process of finding a record label to release the album is taking time to organise.
