| February 11, 2004 Congratulations to Our Lady Peace for their three nominations at this year's Juno Awards! The 4-time Juno Award winners are up for Group of the Year, Single of the Year ("Innocent") in addition to being a finalist in the brand new category of Music DVD of the Year for "Our Lady Peace Live". The 2004 JUNO Awards will be broadcast on CTV on Sunday, April 4 at 8 p.m. (All local markets)/ 9 p.m. Atlantic time from Rexall Place in Edmonton. Tickets for the 2004 JUNO Awards go on sale Saturday, February 14 at 11:30 a.m. EST. Tickets are priced $57.00, $68.50, $80.00 and $91.50 (plus applicable surcharges) and can be purchased through Ticketmaster. June 26, 2003 Our Lady Peace joined Chantal Kreviazuk, Liam Titcomb, Avril Lavigne, Barenaked Ladies and War Child Canada's Dr. Samantha Nutt and Dr. Eric Hoskins in a gold record ceremony backstage at Toronto's SARS SkyDome Concert to commemorate the success of 'Peace Songs,' a compilation CD to benefit war-affected children. The CD, which also features original performances by Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion and a long list of other international luminaries has already generated over $100,000 for War Child's work in support of war-affected children. Projects supported by Peace Songs include providing medicines to the Karbala Pediatric Hospital in southern Iraq, and funding a project in Afghanistan which is teaching Afghan women to read, write and learn employable skills. The career-spanning album includes the band's staples along with the never before recorded "Our Time Is Fading" and "Whatever," originally on the WWE Forceable Entry album. June 23, 2003 The live "Starseed" video taken from OLP's upcoming DVD has been added to MuchMusic's high rotation. Request it by sending an e-mail to MuchOnDemand. June 6, 2003 $100,000 has been donated to War Child Canada from the sale of 'Peace Songs', an album that includes songs from some of the world's best-known International and Canadian artists - including OLP, who cover John Lennon's "Imagine" for the project. The proceeds will help children affected by war through War Child Canada's international humanitarian projects, including humanitarian relief in Iraq.
