What of Canary Yellow? Need we say
more than chirp and tweet? But,
then again, there are the windswept
islands off West Africa where
centuries past, slave raiders of the Sea
supplied that Evil Institution.

What of Lincoln Green? As seen by some
deriving from that English Shire of
fabled lore. More imagine that this
floral shade is a tribute to that
late and great man of State, President
Abraham, ... of whom we treat in no way
lightly. That would not be rightly!
What of Blushing Pink? Do you really
think that White and Red, when wed,
ought to be embarrased or ashamed?
What of Periwinkle Blue? Of True Blue,
Sky Blue, Aqua Blue, or Navy Blue?
Of Royal Blue, Cobalt Blue, or Baby Blue?
And stuck in the middle, Little Boy Blue.
What of Pearl White? Heroine of
the Silent Screen? Starring in
"The Perils of Pauline"? Or, is it just
the lustrous sheen of polished teeth?

Which leads us to, Blood Red! The liquid
of life, spurting from a puncture wound!
