One day the Ham-Hams were at the beach, but the thing they didn't know was that their lives were going to change in the next few hours . Everybody was relaxing and basking in the sun for a little while, until a few of the Ham-Hams decided to start swimming in the ocean. Bijou was splashing in the water and said to herself "Its so beautiful, the sea shells, the ocean everything is so peaceful!" Suddenly the tide came in and swept her away from the shore, she tried to call for help but the water pulled her down.
Hamtaro had a strange feeling that something was wrong," Boss somebody needs help!" He looked around at all the Hamsters and yelled "Group call!" All of the Ham-Hams gathered around to see what was going on. "We're just going to check to see if all of us are here! So when Boss calls out your name say "Here" or "Present" Alright?" All of them nodded their heads in agreement "All right lets see here Pashmina, Penelope, Sandy, Cappy, Stan, Oxnard, Dexter, Howdy, Panda, Maxwell, Jingle, Snoozer, Hamtaro, and me! So that adds up to 14! So all of us are here!" Even though all of them were counted Hamtaro still knew somebody was missing that's when he heard Bijou cries for help! "BOSS!!!! Bijou is out in the ocean we've got to go save her and work as Hamsters united!" When Boss heard that Bijou was the one missing he grabbed a toy boat he found that he could fit in and sailed out toward Bijou. "Boss! Boss wait! Let me come with you!!!" Hamtaro yelled, but he didn't come back for him or stop the boat. "I hope she'll be okay" Pashmina said to him "Ya me to."
 While Boss was rowing around the water he saw Bijou, when he reached out for her paw she grabbed on, but the tide took her away out of Boss's reach. So Boss plunged into the water and fought the strong currents of water that tried to pull him down into the ocean. The rest of the Hamsters waited for him to return with Bijou in his arms instead they found the boat he went in the ocean with "Oh my gosh, Boss! He maybe fell out, and needs are help! Come on we have some work to do!"
So Hamtaro pushed the boat toward the shore and jumped in waiting for the currents to pull him in. Pashmina was going to stop him, but it was to late he was already afloat. "Boss, Bijou!! Where are you?" Hamtaro cried out , but nobody called back. For a while he sat there crying about them, and thinking of all these things that could happen to them out there. That's when he heard a faint cry calling "Hamtaro I'm right here!" he looked around the boat for any sign of them, until he spotted Bijou! So he rowed over to her and lifted her into the boat.
He felt so happy to see her, but when he saw that she had fainted he got worried so he came back to the shore and carried Bijou out with him. When he looked around he saw that none of the Ham-Hams were there " Where could they be? Or what if I took a wrong turn!" It seemed as if all the hope inside of him awhile ago seemed to fade away. How he wished that the others were there to comfort him and say everything was all right, but he knew that wouldn't happen either. "I'm lost, cold, afraid, and the bad thing about it is that I'm lost!" Right when he was about to carry Bijou off to a shady corner he saw something got washed up on shore. So that's when he decided to take a closer look to see what it was. Once he got close enough he looked at it and found out that it was Boss! "Hamtaro is that you?" He said to him "Yes it is me your going to be alright." When Boss got enough strength Hamtaro helped him walk over to where Bijou was. When they did he saw that she was missing! "Where's Bijou you said she'd be here!" Boss barked at Hamtaro " I'm sorry she must've woken off and is wandering around here somewhere!"
When the two were looking around they heard some rustling over in the bushes, both of them stared at each other " You go over there Hamtaro see what it is" Cautiously he went over to the Bush and poked at it. Then the animal appeared it was a hamster! "Hi my names Hamtaro what's your name?" She stared at him and then winked "The names Amabel! I guess this is your friend, she told me all about you, and that big guy over there!" Boss turned red, but he still was mad about being called "big guy" "How about all three of you come over to my house and we can have some sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds too!" Amabel said to them. Boss started drooling, " Thanks your very kind!" Hamtaro said to her, while Bijou turned red in the face since she was jealous of Amabel at the time. "Are you okay Bijou girl?" Amabel asked " I'm fine!" she replied, and turned her back on her. " What's the matter Bijou?" Hamtaro asked her "Nothing, nothing I'm alright." Bijou watched the two walk off hand in hand, that's when Boss took her hand and walked off with her. "What does she have that I don't?" she thought.
