Hamtaro felt so safe around Amabel, but he felt bad that she was the only  hamster on the island.  "Amabel, do you ever get lonely?"  Hamtaro asked her , she stopped right in her tracks and looked at him.  He saw that she started to cry  " I'M ALWAYS LONELY, BUT IT NEVER USED TO BE THAT WAY!"   Bijou felt sorry for her so she came over to her and said "  I used to live in France, but when I moved to America  I felt lonely to because  I didn't know anybody!"   Amabel started to smile a little , but still something bothered her. Hamtaro looked at her, and wondered what bothered her so much " Amabel, if you want to you  can tell us what happened." She took a deep breath and then started telling the story " I used to have a owner, her name was Tracy, she always used to take me on cruises whenever we went to a different country . We were always with each other  until that one awful day."  She paused and looked at the three staring at her with curiosity, so she carried on  "  The two of us slept together every single night and we would never leave the house without each other, but that changed on the day Tracy graduated college and took a cruise with me to America where we would live a better life then before. I never felt so excited in my life! I could just imagine all the places we would go together like New York, and see the Statue of Liberty! So we packed our bags and sailed off toward our destination! Both of us were having a good time until the captain said we were headed right into a hurricane. Tracy was so scared so she held me close to her chest, I could here her heart pounding so I knew she was worried. So she left her room with her pack and my carrying case and walked outside onto the dock and looked into the distance. That's when a mighty blow hit right next to us that was so powerful it knocked me out of her hands and made me fall into the icy cold ocean. Tracy screamed and tried to grab me but one of the waves took me down. I tried to fight, but it just pushed farther away from the ship, looking around for anything that I could grab hold to. That's when I saw a piece of wood floating on the surface so I grabbed onto it and pulled myself onto the top so I could see if the cruise was anywhere near me, when I saw that it was still afloat I knew that Tracy would be okay even though my heart ached when I saw that she was crying out my name with tears in her eyes. I knew I couldn't go back it was to risky, so I curled up in ball and fell asleep. When I woke up I found myself on this island I looked at myself and found lots of bruises and wounds. My left leg was broken so I dragged myself under some trees and found a firm stick that could keep me up so I started making myself a house on the other side of the island. When I was finished I was really happy, but something was missing so I felt around in my fur pocket, that's when I found a picture of me and Tracy I started crying, but I knew that I'd never see her again so I pinned it up on one of walls. I've been here for a year, and now that's when you guys came here."  When she was dine the three were silent for awhile until Boss spoke up " If we ever get back home, you could come and live with me and see the Ham-Hams everyday!" Amabel smile and stood up " I guess that would be okay"  When Boss was done Hamtaro spoke up " Don't worry Amabel I'll be there for you! And until we get out of here I'll spend as much time with you as possible!"  All of them were smiling and feeling better, " You know what Amabel , I was wondering if  you could be my girlfriend"  She smiled and hugged him " I'd love to!"
Bijou's eyes were wet with tears, but were stinging with anger. At that moment it felt like her heart was torn in half , so she ran off.  Boss noticed this and followed her, when Hamtaro saw that Bijou was gone he ran off, but while he was running he said " Stay right there Amabel!"  Boss looked around for her until he spotted her crying under a bush " Oh Bijou are you okay? I understand how you feel, it wasn't right for him to say that when you were right there hearing him as clear as a bell!"  She looked at him and pecked him on the cheek " Oh Boss your so kind your the only on e who understands!" Boss blushed, but when he saw that Hamtaro his face cringed and turned red with anger " How could you say that when you always said you cared for Bijou? When you said that to Amabel when she was standing there listening to every word you said to her!"  Hamtaro stared at him and felt so small and helpless "  I still care for her!" he yelled, Boss turned even angrier and said " YOU THINK SHE STILL CARES ABOUT YOU?! GO ASK HER!" Hamtaro looked at Bijou she looked so fragile and weak with tears pouring down her cheeks while choking on them " Bijou I love you! Its just I lost it! I'm really sorry!"  She felt sorry for him even though her heart still hurt badly, but before she could forgive him Boss pushed Hamtaro so hard he fell to the ground . Bijou screamed so loud , when Amabel heard her she rushed over to her side ,and saw Hamtaro helpless on the ground with Boss looking down at him with hatred in his eyes . Before anybody could do anything a wild cat leaped down at them. All of them scattered, but Hamtaro was to weak to move so he lied there looking straight into the fierce golden eyes of the cat , but when he moved it pounced at him and scratched  him on the side so when he forced himself up on his feet he blacked out. The last thing heard was Bijou screaming " HAMTARO!"
