Buck walked out of the Grille upset. He had come to pick up Drew for lunch and heard she went home early without even calling him. Normally it wouldn't bother him but now with the person stalking her he didn't want her going anyplace alone. He even had a trace put on his phone after she received a couple a phone calls at his place but it seemed the person was always one step ahead and hadn't called since. He got back in his truck and drove back to the apartments.

He had thought she would be at their place but she wasn't and by the time she answered the door at Trina's he was shaking. He missed the look on her face and the fact that she was somewhat pale. "What the hell you thinking Sunshine? Why didn't you call me?" He pulled her to him and hugged her tight.

Drew held onto him, "I'm sorry I came home early because I wasn't feeling well. I wasn't alone though Ezra gave me a ride. He's with Trina now I think they went to Organ Pipe or something before it got too warm."

Buck placed his hand under her chin, "you all right Sunshine? You look a bit peeked." He wanted to ask how come she came here and not their apartment. And that was what he considered his place, their home.

"I wanted to check my mail."

Buck winked; "you really should have that stuff sent to our address. Ezra knows now that you've been staying with me." He frowned a moment. "Wait, is this why you're not feeling well? Did he say something to upset you?"

Drew shook her head "no it wasn't him. Yes he's upset but he knows he can't tell me how to live my life. I've just been a bit queasy the past few days. I'm sure it's nothing."

Buck's eyes lit up for a moment but he didn't say what he was thinking. He lifted her hand and kissed it, "I have something I want to show you. You up for taking a ride?"

Drew nodded and grabbed an envelope that was sent to her from California. She hadn't opened it up yet and had not looked too closely at it. She assumed as thick as it was that it was from one of her friends.

Soon she was seated next to him in his truck and they were driving out of town. She opened the envelope and began to read. Her eye's widened; it was an acceptance form to California State University at Long Beach in the Department of Theatre Arts program. 'But how?' She never applied. It use to be her dream; she was accepted into a drama program. She looked to Buck who had his arm placed around her. She knew she'd never be able to leave because he was her dream now. She loved him with all her heart and soul.

Buck frowned to Drew noticing she appeared upset, "what's in the letter?"

Drew shrugged as he pulled up to an area and stopped. The scenery was beautiful with wild cactus's growing and she really was starting to appreciate the desert's beauty more and more.

Buck smiled and looked out the window. "You see this Sunshine?"

Drew nodded.

He turned towards her; "this is mine, no ours. I brought this land awhile back in hopes that someday I could build a house on it and raise a family. He pointed, "back there beyond that rise is a stream, that rises up to almost a lake during the rainy season. It's a lot of land I used some of my rodeo earnings to purchase it. It's about 30 acres." He smiled proudly and kept talking. "I think we could build a house over there."

Drew looked in the direction he pointed and smiled.

"And we can put up a corral and have a few horses too with a stable and everything."

Drew smiled and looked around; "it's beautiful here Buck. How come you never said anything?"

Buck placed his hand under her chin tilting her face up to his. "I wanted to share it with the woman I was going to spend the rest of my life with first. I love you Sunshine and I want to marry you. Please do me the honor of becoming my wife."

Drew was speechless as he captured his lips with hers kissing her softly. She dropped the letter that she had been holding in her hand, into his lap.

Buck looked down and saw it was from California Sate University. He lifted it up before she could say anything and started to read it. His hand shook he had thought she would stay since they had become so close.

"Buck."

He shook his head and handed it back to her then started the ignition. "When were you going to tell me Drew? Huh? After your bags were packed?" His heart was breaking he honestly thought she wasn't going to go. The past few weeks she had told him she was going to stay.

"Please Buck let me explain."

Buck fought tears. "Don't say anything Drew, don't say anything at all. If you do I just might say something I'll regret and be unable to take back."

He drove her back to the apartments in silence listening to her sob softly. She had moved away from him and was leaning against the passenger side of the truck. She wiped tears as they stopped. "Buck please let's talk. I didn't..."

"Please get out." Buck gritted his teeth. How could he have fallen so hard? Chris had warned him but he didn't listen.

Drew cried harder and got out of the truck. She stood and watched as he pealed out of the parking lot and sped down the road. She hung her head down and walked back to Trina's.

Trina looked over as Drew walked in the door. "Drew?" She rushed over and hugged her "what's wrong? Did someone hurt you?"

Drew wiped her tears and looked around. "Is Ezra here?" She couldn't deal with him telling her that he told her so now.

"No he's not he had to run home and is going to come back and get me to take me to the Grille for a late lunch, early supper."

Trina led her over to the couch. "Please tell me. What happened?"

Drew sat down and explained everything that had taken place and the fact that she had not applied to the University. She looked to Trina; "He wanted to marry me. He didn't give me a chance to answer him."

Trina wiped a tear from Drew's cheek. "He's upset let him cool off." She smiled; "you want to marry him don't you?" She hugged Drew after she nodded then pulled away, as there was a knock at the door.

Drew stood up feeling a bit dizzy again. "I'll be in my room, go on out with Ezra. I need to lie down anyway."

Trina didn't miss Drew's face fall when she referred to the room as 'her room.' Yes, technically it was but most of Drew's things had been moved over to Buck's apartment.

After Trina left with Ezra Drew turned on the radio in her room only to hear Lonestar's 'Amazed.' It was the song Buck had serenaded her with on her birthday and had become their song. She grabbed her pillow to her and started to cry again.

An hour later she sat up feeling a bit nauseous again. She needed to talk with someone. She stood up and went to wash her face then left the apartment. She ended up at Kenin's office after seeing Buck's truck parked outside the Grille, along with Ezra and Alley's vehicles and some others.

Kenin walked out and saw Drew in the waiting area and called her back to her office. Drew took a seat and looked down.

Kenin watched her, "Drew I take it you need to talk? I can't help though unless you tell me what's going on. Did something happen with Buck?"

Drew nodded and told Kenin all that had been going on even the part where she hadn't been feeling well lately.

Kenin nodded "I see. Trina is right Buck just needs to cool off a bit. Tell me about how you've been feeling more Drew?" The concern in her voice apparent.

Drew shrugged, "just queasy. I got dizzy earlier today at work too."

Kenin nodded, "have you been eating?"

Drew shook her head "only a little I got sick this morning after smelling the coffee. You think I have some kind of bug?"

"Drew when was your last cycle?"

Drew looked to her, "huh?"

Kenin shook her head, "your period hun. You and Buck are sexually active I take it. Right?" She watched as Drew nodded again. "What kind of contraception are you using?"

Drew bit her lip, "nothing." She paled realizing the last time she had her period was before her birthday.

Kenin frowned wondering how Buck could be so irresponsible. >From what Drew had told her just now he had been her first time and she was in love with him. 'No they were both irresponsible,' she thought.

Drew spoke up trying to defend Buck "he used a condom a few times. But well..."

"A few times isn't enough Drew." Kenin stood up, "I'm going to have to examine you and do a pregnancy test." She watched as Drew stood up and took her arm as she saw her sway a bit. "Then I want you to try and eat something."

A bit later Drew was sitting back in Kenin's office eating some cheese and crackers.

Kenin looked to her as she entered the office and knelt down next to her nodding. "You're pregnant Drew. From my estimates about 11 weeks along too." She reached out to her hugging her as tears welled up in her eyes. "It's going to be okay Drew, it will." She didn't know for sure if it would be and was wanting to smack Buck Wilmington right now but knew it wouldn't help matters any. She would be there for Drew if she needed her as a doctor and as her friend. 'She's just so young,' she thought.

Kenin handed her a Kleenex as she stood up then got serious. "I have to ask Drew and tell you your options.

Drew shook her head; "I can't get rid of the baby so that's not an option I want to pursue. I don't know what I'll do. My mother hates me; Buck hates me now too. Ezra is going to be so disappointed too."

Kenin shook her head; "Buck doesn't hate you Drew. He was upset. And your brother loves you, yes it'll upset him but you're his sister and he adores you." She sat down, "I'm going to give you a prescription for some pre-natal vitamins. The baby should be due sometime around mid March." She looked at her chart. "The 18th of March. But I'd like for you to have an ultrasound to confirm that. You'll have to go to Tucson for that I'll get one scheduled for you."

Drew stood up, "thank you Kenin. For everything." She looked at the prescription. "I'll get this filled." She walked over and hugged Kenin again then went to the door.

"Drew?"

Drew turned back to Kenin, "yes?"

"You take care and I'll call you later to check on you."

Drew nodded then left her office. Needing to get outside and have some fresh air.

At the Grille Buck sat at the bar drowning his sorrows. Alley and Dwayne had tried cheering him up but nothing had seemed to work. Trina watched Buck as she sat at a table with Ezra. She was trying to get up the courage to go confront him.

Laura walked in with Nathan and saw Buck sitting at the bar alone. She stood on her tiptoes and kissed Nathan's cheek, "go on and get us a table. I want to say hello to Buck." She could tell by the way he was slumped over that something had made him very sad. Usually Buck would wave say howdy as soon as a friend walked in the door at the Grille and this afternoon he sat starring at his beer.

Nathan noticed too and nodded, "all right Eeoyre."

Laura walked over taking a seat next to Buck at the bar. "Hello Buck."

Buck looked to her a moment, "Laura." Then he took another drink of his beer.

Laura frowned, "you look like you lost your best friend?"

"I did. Drew's leaving she got accepted to a University in California. Her probations up should have known she would leave me."

Laura looked confused then hugged him. "I'm sure it's a misunderstanding Buck. What did she say?"

Buck hugged Laura for a moment then saw Trina walking towards them frowning.

As soon as she saw Laura hug Buck she had gotten out of her seat. That was all Drew would need to walk in and see right now. She was aware Laura and Buck were just friends but now was not the time for Drew to see something like that.

Trina folded her arms and nodded to Laura then Buck. "Hello Buck, Laura." Before either could answer her she spoke again taking Buck's arm. "We need to talk."

Buck stood up and swayed a bit. He laughed because he had never seen Trina so determined. "Excuse us Laura. I don't think this little spitfire is going to take no for an answer." It was the first time in hours he had smiled.

Trina smiled to Laura. "I'm sorry, next time I'll be more social." She kept a hold of Buck's arm and led him out of the Grille.

Buck leaned against the wall as they got outside. "Okay Red what's up?"

Trina frowned, "one thing it's Trina and another you're being a jerk."

Buck looked amazed. "Me? I'm not the one who was lying and this is Drew you're talking about right? I mean she led me on for Christ sakes!" He didn't mean to yell but he was so hurt and frustrated.

Trina stood her ground and glared at him. "Drew told me everything that happened. You didn't even give her a chance to explain. She NEVER applied to that University. She loves you Buck she had no intentions of leaving. We don't know how she got accepted the only thing we can come up with is her mother did it."

Ezra had walked outside after hearing Buck shout and he looked down. "It wasn't mother. I had forgotten all about that. I was the one who sent in Drew's application. But it was after she first got here and told me about her dream of becoming an actress. I really had forgot all about it. But Trina's right it wasn't Drew." He looked to Buck.

Buck clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. "You've been against Drew and I since day one. Damn it Ezra I thought.." He looked to Trina, "what else did she say?"

Trina stood by Ezra and glared to Buck. "Well she would have said yes if that's what you mean. You hurt her Buck really bad too."

Ezra looked to Buck. "Does this mean Puerto Penasco is off?" Buck and Ezra had planned a surprise trip for Drew and Trina to celebrate the end of Drew's probation. Puerto Penasco was in Mexico and was a popular tourist area with beautiful beaches and it was only an hour and a half drive from town.

Buck looked to Ezra and Trina, "no it's still on we'll leave in the morning. Right now I have to find Sunshine." He left leaving Ezra to explain to a very confused Trina about the surprise trip.

He found Drew sitting outside by the pool talking with Julio when he got home. He frowned and walked over.

Drew saw Buck walking towards them. She had come outside for a swim after she got home and Julio came over to talk. She knew Buck didn't trust him but he had no right anymore to tell her who she could or couldn't talk to.

Buck cocked his head and looked from Julio to Drew, "Sunshine?"

She looked up at him while Julio glared. "Yeah Buck?"

 "Get lost Julio." He gave the younger boy a look.

Julio laughed and leaned back scooting closer to Drew who had on one of her thong bikinis. "It's a free country dude. I ain't leaving."

Drew watched as Buck moved closer and stood up wrapping her towel around her. "Julio I'll talk to you later." She glared at Buck again and started walking towards Trina's apartment. She hadn't gone far when she felt Buck's arms go around her lifting her up off her feet.

 Buck carried her to their apartment and set her down. He ran his fingers through his hair. "What are you doing Sunshine? You know I don't like you prancing around like that, especially if I'm not with you. Not to mention Julio is our prime suspect for your stalker!"

"Don't yell at me! And it's not Julio either. I know okay? He's my friend. Besides I didn't wear this for him." She threw off her towel. "I wore it because I'm going to get all fat soon and I won't be able too then!"

Buck laughed, "you won't get fat Drew you don't eat enough to keep a bird alive." At barley five feet tall she only weighed around 92 pounds. He left out the fact that he had suspected she might be pregnant but he wasn't aware she knew.

Drew looked to him. "What do you want from me Buck? To say I'm not going to that University that I didn't apply for but you never gave me the fucking chance to explain?" She backed up as he started to move towards her and she started to cry again. "I couldn't go if I wanted to anyway and yes I am going to get fat because I'm pregnant!"

She lifted up her purse and threw her pre-natal vitamins at him. "If you don't believe me go talk to Kenin. I'll have my things moved out of here tomorrow." She walked back to their room and started to undress. She removed her bikini top and looked over seeing him standing in the doorway smiling. "Do you mind?"

Buck's gaze roamed over her standing there topless. "I'm sorry." He moved towards her backing her further towards the bed.

Drew reached out to push him away but he took her arms and pulled her to him. "I talked to Trina. I was an ass. I should have let you explain. I was just so hurt by the thought of you going." He looked down; "there really are no excuses for my behavior so I hope you can accept my apology."

Drew looked up at him. "I wasn't going to leave you Buck. I love you but......"

He eased her back onto the bed and laid down next to her running her fingers through her long blond hair. "But what Drew?" He moved his hand down to her abdomen, "we created a life, you and I, and I love you so much. You never got a chance to answer me earlier. But I really want to marry you. I wanted to before the baby. I won't lie I kind of figured you were pregnant considering you never had a period, from what I can recall, since we've been making love. But baby or not I've wanted you since the moment I first laid eyes on you. You complete me and I've never been happier." He sat up and pulled out a small box from the nightstand. He handed her the box and bit his lip. "Open it Sunshine, please?"

Drew's hand shook as she opened the tiny black box. Inside was the most beautiful diamond ring she had ever seen. It wasn't a large diamond but it was exquisite none the less. "Oh Buck." Her hands started to shake.

Buck took the ring and held onto her hand. "Drew Elizabeth Standish would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" He slid the ring on her finger as she nodded her head yes.

Drew wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning Buck, Drew, Ezra, and Trina were on their way to Puerto Penasco. They had intended on leaving earlier but Drew had been ill again, Ezra was not too happy either since he had woken up earlier then normal. Buck didn't inform them the reason for the delay. He wanted to marry Drew before Ezra found out about the baby but she was going to be showing soon, meaning he had to get her to the alter and fast.
They had rented a two-bedroom condo overlooking the beach. Complete with a living room, kitchen and two bathrooms. Trina and Drew took the master bedroom because the other one had twin beds in it.
The first day was spent getting things for the place. Trina had insisted on going to the grocery store to get supplies so she could cook. She didn't care for Mexican food and realized she wouldn't want to eat out much.
Drew and Buck spent a lot of time alone walking along the beach. Later that evening the two even made love in a secluded area. Afterwards they stayed in each other's arms listening to the serf.
Drew smiled and looked up at him, "we should get back soon. I wish we could sleep in the same room but Ezra would have a fit."
"He wouldn't if we were married Sunshine." He looked to her, "marry me here tomorrow. Right by the beach a place you love so much. It would be perfect and your brother is here and so is Trina."
Drew shrugged, "what about our other friends?"
Buck smiled, "well I'm sure Kenin will understand seeing she's the only other one that knows about the baby. But the rest will too in time. We're doing this for us and I can't think of a better place to make you mine then right here, seal our bond forever."
Drew hugged him. "I think it's perfect too."
Ezra had been shocked to find out that Drew and Buck would be getting married the following day. But in the end accepted it. No one had ever taken better care of his sister and he could see that Buck loved her with all his heart. Trina baked a cake and he had gone out and hired someone to photograph and video tape the nuptials and even insisted on taking Drew out to purchase her a wedding dress. She had wanted to get married in a bikini but he wouldn't hear of it. So Drew humored Ezra and allowed him to buy her a dress. Of course she got one of the nicest ones money could buy.
The dress was white and off the shoulders. The skirt was short showing off her tan legs. Trina fixed up her hair and had purchased a dress too for the occasion. She also made Drew a bouquet of some tropical flowers she had bought from a vendor.
Buck went to purchase the wedding rings and hoped that Drew would like what he picked out. If they had had more time they would have gone together. But he had taken Trina along while Ezra and Drew went to purchase the wedding dress and Trina insisted Drew would love the bands Buck chose.
The wedding itself was a perfect as Buck said it would be with Ezra and Trina standing up for the couple. Buck smiled proudly as the minister announced them man and wife and took Drew into his arms dipping her and kissing her.
Drew had never been happier and held onto him as he lifted her up.
A short while later they stood kissing on the beach. Ezra had another surprise for them. Caterer's arrived and one of the local bands started to set up.
Drew hugged Ezra "how? I mean you didn't have much notice?"
Ezra placed his hand under her chin tilting her face up to his. "You're my baby sister I'd do just about anything for you. You deserve the best." He hugged her and looked to Buck, "you're a lucky man."
Buck pulled Drew to him wrapping his arms around her from behind. "Oh I know it Ezra. I'm the luckiest man in the world."
Ezra took Trina's hand and lifted a bottle of champagne. He popped the cork. He gave Trina a quick kiss then poured them all a glass. He held it out to Drew and frowned as she bit her lip and looked to Buck.
Buck shrugged, "we have anything without alcohol?"
Trina stood looking confused she knew Drew loved champagne and she could see that Ezra looked a bit upset and wasn't quite sure why.
Drew looked down as Buck held her closer kissing the top of her head.
"Why don't you want a drink Drew?" Ezra asked her glaring at Buck. He should have known with the rush wedding and all and had warned Buck if he knocked Drew up he would hurt him.
Buck looked into Ezra's eyes knowing he knew. "I love her Ezra I would have married her anyway."
Trina finally spoke up, "Ezra what's wrong? I can get Drew something else to drink it's not a big deal."
Drew looked up to Ezra who stood a step closer to them with his fist clenched. "Please Ezra it's my wedding day." She looked to Trina, "Buck and I are going to have a baby."
"That's not why I married her though." Buck answered starring at Ezra returning his glare.
Trina put her hand on Ezra's arm then hugged Drew. "Congratulations!" She was in shock but she didn't want anyone or anything to spoil this day for Drew. She looked to Ezra and he gave her a nod and put his hand on Drew's shoulder.
Drew turned to Ezra and hugged him. "Please don't fight. I love him so much Ezra. But I love you too and I need you as well. Trina too." She smiled to her friend over her brother's shoulder.
Ezra backed up and forced a smile gaining his composure. "I'll see about getting Drew some juice." He walked off and Trina followed him.
Buck embraced Drew again and kissed her. He broke if off and smiled. "He's upset and it's understandable. He's your brother but I think he also took on the responsibility of father to you too a long time ago. Today he watched you get married and now he hears you're gonna be a momma too. It's a lot to take in. Trina will be there for him though."
The rest of the night went by rather well. Ezra had cheered up, thanks to Trina, and the four ended up having a wonderful time and danced the night away under the stars. The rest of the hotel had came out and joined them for the dance and Buck even sang for Drew again.
The stayed in Puerto Penasco for two more days before returning to Four Corners. Trina moved to Ezra's room allowing Buck and Drew to have the master one to themselves. Drew knew her life would never be the same and was happier then she could ever imagined being Mrs. Buck Wilmington.
