Okay, so we haven't updated this site in a while. Does that mean nothing is going on in Descension Rate land? Of course not. We are hard at work right now recording our first full length album which we plan on having done by the end of summer. Check out our myspace page to hear the rough radio mix of "Tin Cradle." We're damn excited to finally get some of these songs recorded because a lot of them haven't seen any type of recording since Jeff and Ryan made the rough demos after writing them almost two years ago. We will also post info on some upcoming shows real soon.

Don't forget to tune in to 100.1 WCLG's local music show The Homegrown this Sunday (March 26) where Descension Rate will be doing a live interview. You never know what kind of interesting things will pop up in these interviews, so you definitely don't want to miss this!

We're working on getting a few more shows lined up soon. Our next show in Morgantown is April 7, and we are also working on getting a couple of shows in Ohio and Virginia. We'll get them posted as soon as we get them finalized.

Thank you so much for everyone that came out to our show last weekend. It was fun to get back on stage after a four month break. Also, thanks to J Marinelli, Nakano, and ECFOP for rocking heads with us.
This Wednesday, Feb 22, we have a show at the Z Lounge as part of Serenity. We haven't played Pittsburgh for quite sometime, so this will be a fun one. And of course, we will have our new CD, shirts, and stickers available for mega-cheap.

Our first show in almost 4 months is coming up this Friday, February 10 at 123 Pleasant St., and we're making sure that it'll be a hell of a show. We've got our good friends Nakano, Electricity Comes From Other Planets, and J. Marinelli joining us on the bill. We will also be selling shirts and CDs for dirt cheap. We hope to see you all at the show. You definitely don't want to miss this one.

Okay, so it's been a while since an update. Descension Rate took a break for the past couple of months, but we're coming back strong with a killer show at 123 Pleasant St. on Feb. 10. By then, we hope to have heeps of merch for everyone like stickers, CDs (finally), and shirts (hopefully). Oh yeah, and we have a couple of new songs, too. So come check it out. We'll update you on all the happenings in D-Rate land.
