Rather than create separate family trees for each branch of the De Ruyver family, we have attempted to create an easy to follow family tree that encompasses everyone. Each page of the family tree contains information on three generations of De Ruyvers, with the last generation on one page repeating as the first generation on the next. We believe this format allows the reader to more easily print out and follow the family tree from one generation to the next. We have also color coded each branch of the family to assist the user.

Separate trees will be posted for those De Ruyvers who have not yet been able to trace their branch back to the main root. Currently, that root is considered to begin with Adriaen De Ruyver (1540 - 1596), the oldest relative for whom we have information. Adriaen De Ruyver is generation one of the family De Ruyver.
