Philosophy:
The
Derry
Area
Aqua
Club
is
a
part
of
the
Chestnut
Ridge
Swim
League.
Our
primary
objective
is
to
teach
developmental
swimming
from
kindergarten
through
high
school
age.
We
emphasize
stroke
technique
for
all
four
strokes
and
strength
and
endurance
training.
We
promote
self-esteem
and
good
sportsmanship.
We
believe
success
breeds
success.
Although
competition
is
not
required
of
a
swimmer,
we
feel
it
is
a
good
individual
and
team
experience.
The
club
is
not
only
an
important
training
ground
for
the
swimmer
who
intends
to
join
the
varsity
swim
team
in
the
future
but
for
anyone
who
enjoys
swimming.
The
club
is
directed
by
parents
and
coached
by
a
well-trained
staff.

Practice Times for 5/2/05 &
5/4/05 only:
6:00-7:00pm “B” group practice
6:00-8:00pm “A” group practice
Practice sessions are divided
for beginners (B) and advanced
(A).
All new swimmers should come
prepared to swim when
registering and plan to attend
the B session.
Registration Fee: $45.00
(1st swimmer)
$25.00 (2nd
swimmer)
$20.00 (3rd swimmer
or more)
Special: $90.00 (family
rate-must be living in same
household)
Insurance Fee: $ 3.00
(mandatory for all swimmers)
Out of District Fee: $15.00
(per family)

the financial burden you may
apply for the Leslie McConnell
Registration Award. Please

explanation of interest in the
