Location:    Derry Area Natatorium, Derry Area Middle/High Schools

Directions:  From Johnstown Area: Take 22 W, 982 S, to Peanut, PA.  School
                  will be on left, approximately 6 miles.

                  From Pittsburgh: Take 22 E, 982 S, to Peanut, PA.  School will be on
                  left, approximately 6 miles.

                 From Greensburg Area: Take 30 E, 982 N. to Peanut, PA.  School 
                 will be on right.

Facility:    Six lane, 25-yard pool.  Six-lane display Colorado Timing System
              (touch pads) will be used with plunger and an additional three timers per
               lane.  There will also be touch pads at the shallow end of the pool for the
               6 & under and 7 - 8 events.
 

 **Coaches please take note: You must instruct your RELAY swimmers to exit the pool immediately upon touching the pad at the end of their lap.  If there is a delay, the Colorado Timing System cannot accurately give splits and times.  Please help us avoid inaccurate times and delays in the start of the next event.

Warm-ups:    Morning Session:    11 and up – Girls and Boys
                                                   Teams A – H: 7:00 a.m. until 7:25 a.m.
                                                   Teams I – Z: 7:30 a.m. until 7:55 a.m.
                                                    Scratch meeting at 7:30 a.m.
                                                    Meet begins at 8:10 a.m.

Afternoon Session:  10 & under – Boys and Girls
                               Teams A – H: 12:45 p.m. until 1:15 p.m.   ***
                               Teams I – Z: 1:15 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.  ***
                               Afternoon Session begins 1:50 p.m.   ***      

***Please note that we will notify the teams if the afternoon session times change due to the number of entries. 

Seeding:       Morning Session swimmers report directly to the blocks.  Only the
Afternoon Session will be pre-seeded.  Swimmers should report to the designated seeding area at the first call of their event but no later than the last call of the event.  Participants will remain in the seeding area and travel together to the pool for further instructions by meet personnel.  Events will be announced in the gymnasium and the pool area.  There will be no penalty for failure to swim pre-seeded events.

Entries:        Swimmers may enter five events in their age group, plus relays.  Age as of November 7, 2004, determines age group.  Age Groups: 6 & under, 7–8, 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-18.  Entries are due by midnight, Friday, October 22, 2004.
NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.  Each club must submit a copy of a properly completed master entry form.  Include birth date, full first name, middle initial and last name for all swimmers.  Team entries should be submitted on 3.5 disk using      Hy-Tek Team manager or on the enclosed forms.  All fees must accompany entries.

Entry Fees:   $3 per individual event; $12 per relay.  Make checks payable to
                    DAAC.

Awards:        Individual Events:   Trophies 1^st through 3^rd place
                                                  Medals 4^th through 6^th place
                                                  Ribbons 7^th through 9^th place

                    Relay Events:          Ribbons 1^st through 6^th place

                    Team Trophies:      1^st through 3^rd place

                    High Point Individual Plaques:      1^st through 6^th, each age group

 Scoring:      Individual:    10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

                   Relays:         14, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2

Rules:         All current USS rules will govern the meet.  The 6 & under swimmer
                  may swim, in addition to their age events, the 8 & under relays.  High
                  point awards for swimmers will be determined by the results of
                  individual age group events only.  Relays are mixed.  Mixed allows for
                  four swimmers consisting of all boys, all girls, mixed, or any
                  combination. Only the team coach can address the Meet Referee
                  or Meet Director concerning questions/problems throughout the meet.

Concessions: Food will be available and permitted in the cafeteria only.
         No food will be allowed in the gym or pool areas. 

Apparel:       Swimmers Network will have a table set up in the
gymnasium for your shopping pleasure.  Derry Area Aqua Club will also be selling Scarecrow T-shirts. 

 Heat Sheets: $4.00

Also 50/50 tickets and a Chinese Auction will be available.
