| From the Forum I went to see the *** Palatine Hill - where the remains of the Imperial Palace still stands. Not much is left but the remains show the vastness of the Palace. From the walls of the entrance hall (originally 30 meters tall) only 14 meters remain at some point (and about 2 meters at most areas) From the palace I saw the remaining of the Circus Maximus - today just a big valley. |
