In 1419 the arrival (January) of the vessels of the junk marakib al-z n k at the protected port (Aden), accompanied by a messenger from the lord of China with a magnificent gift for our lord the Sultan al-Malik al-Nasir.  (The sultan at that time was at al-Janad and about mid-March 1419) the present of the Lord of China was conducted to him in procession. It was a splendid present consisting of all manner and rarities (tuhaf), splendid Chinese silk cloth woven with gold ( al-thiyab al-kamkhat al-mudhahhabah) top quality musk, storax (al-ud al-ratb) and many kinds of chinaware vessels, the present being valued at twenty thousand mithqals.
In 1432 at the end of February the captain of the junk (nakhudhuh al-z n k), the servant of the Lord of China, arrived with gifts for our Lord the Sultan....... To Lahej and accompanying him arrived our Lord the Chief Minister.
(this refers to the 7th expedition of Cheng He)

Note; what we have here is the arrival (twice) of the fleet of Cheng Ho on his way to East Africa.
