Hu-lu-mu-ssu kuo (Hormuz): . . . Local products : Large horses ; calico; lions ; t'o chi (ostriches), they lift up their heads to a height of perhaps seven feet;  ling yang, the larger tails weigh more than 20 catties, when they walk they use carts to carry their tails ; long-horned ma-ha-shou, the horns are longer than the body. Tsu-fa-erh kuo (Djufar)..... Local products: Western horses; ho-ting (hornbill) t'o chi (ostrich) fu-lu (zebra).
