| Relay For Life is a walkathon designed to celebrate survivorship, honor remembrance and raise money for the American Cancer Society. On May 17, teams will gather at the Stroudsburg Area High School track. Teams are comprised of friends, relatives, local businesses, hospitals, schools, churches, service clubs and other organizations. Team members will take turns walking, jogging or running laps for 24 hours. Every team is asked to keep at least one representative of their team on the track at all times for a 24 hour period. |
| Our team, comprised of friends, family, and co-workers, will be taking part in this relay in honor of those who are fighting cancer, and those who have lost there battle. I am now personally committed, as the rest of our team is, to making a difference by raising funds for the ACS. The regional goal this year is $106,000. Our team has a goal to raise $1,000. It is a high goal for ourselves, but I believe we can reach it. |
